I'm starting to think it took over a half for Ben to play well. Kinda like a basketball player needs to shoot a bunch of threes right before the start of a game to get his timing feel down. Ben use to start slow even in his prime. But after the arm surgery there was something wrong with either his strength or muscle memory. Ben threw more crappy off target throws the past couple years then the first 16 combined. Maybe he writes a book one day & tells us exactly what was wrong with him after the arm surgery. Until then it's all speculation but any Steelers fan that watched him his whole career knows it was something other than he could be sacked easier. I mean remember when he use to throw down the field & you had that feeling ok Ben's accurate & he sees someone is open so we have like an 80% chance of a catch here? This season when he threw more than 15 yards down the field i expected an incompletion.
as someone wo had a labrum tear surgically corrected on his throwing arm.
yes 100% correct that the throws I used to make was not there anymore. and my surgery probably wasn't 10% as complicated as ben's
