I think the other games do demonstrate clearly what I always say--franchise QB is a stupid term (and I use it,too) because to me a franchise QB is someone who can win four (three if you're the top seed) games in a row against "good" teams to win a Super Bowl. Dak?? He can be fun to watch, he seems like a good guy off the field, but they pay him $40m a year and he is never going to win a Super Bowl. He can't play 3 or 4 good games in a row. Jimmy G? Same, at 27m a year.
Franchise QBs in the game today? Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Wilson if the talent on his team were even average (they are bad). Allen and Burrow could put themselves in that category with SB win this year. A few young guys could get there. At some point in your career you have to get your team in the playoffs and show you don't s*** the bed in the big game to be a true franchise QB. The rest are merely entertainers, eating space against the cap and producing sub par results.
Let's not bring in any other QB in FA this year unless they come in at $5m or less. Fix the other problems, then give a rookie QB the best chance to succeed.Comment

Cowboys fans and Prescott blaming refs for the loss, especially focusing on that last play where the ref spent seconds placing the ball for the next play (that never got started).
Who is to blame there? I think Romo said that Prescott or someone else should have handed the ball to the ref for a quicker ball placement. The OL was clearly in his way and didn't even seem to be aware that the ref need to get in and place the ball. Was the ref to blame? Did he take longer than usual or necessary to reset for the next play?Comment

I'll still watch some out of boredom but I've honestly been losing interest in the NFL for some time. Lot of reasons tbh, I think if the NFL wasn't so established in our culture it wouldn't be very popular at this point, it's just not a very good product at this point.Comment

These two teams tonight both have shown Jekyll and Hyde tendencies. Might come down to which QB makes no mistakes.Comment

A small consolation...Steelers are trending to be the third worst score differential for wildcard weekend.
Not really making me feel better...but wow the Cards are looking really bad tonight.Comment

Yeah he looks totally scared and real bad, happy feet, taking way too long in the pocket. I haven't seen him play that much this year but not looking good in this one that is for sure, that INT from his end zone lol. Maybe a bad matchup for the Cards as well.Comment

I don't get why the game clock continues to run after an offensive penalty is called. The Rams had a 2nd down the clock is running. Penalty on Rams. 2nd down again, the clock then starts to run again, what the hell, it shouldn't run again after that penalty until the end of the play.Comment
