It's interesting watching this Bills offense and how fast the tempo is vs an offense like the Steelers offense which moved at a slugs pace all season outside the no-huddle, both in playcalling and execution. Like even the simple swing out passes are so fast while the Steelers offense it's like in slow motion.

Bills going into Arrowhead to win it, nice.

yet, we keep seeing it happen on a weekly basis. like yesterday's game, what were san fran's odds to win before the punt block??

when you admit tomlin was wrong about his decision. i'll stop pointing out that it happens all the time
        Who won again?

And you also seem to have missed the entire point of the argument as I remember it.

I believe the point was something like: arguing about a decision that's close to a coin flip won't change the odds much when you have a very low chance of winning.

What was the decision? I think you were complaining because we didn't go down the path where we needed 2 or 3 onside kicks in a row or something, right? And non-surprise onside kicks basically don't work since they changed the rules. Certainly not multiple times in a row.

Edited to add: I think you were also complaing about this the week after you were complaining about us passing at the end of the game where DJ got hurt. So it seemed like the consistent principle was more like "blame Tomlin" more than a genuine tactical difference.

i certainly expect a contribution from someone we gave up that high a pick. there's plenty of starters drafted in the 3rd round and below making significant contribution on their defensive lines.

we have a DPOY and an all pro in nour front seven. how many team can claim that?
This guy had FOUR All Pros in the front 7 two of which were DPOY at points in their careers.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Can we trade our next 3 entire drafts for Mahomes?

I think this should be the best game of the weekend.

I think Buffalo is more complete and hope they win.

the question i asked is what were the odds for tampa to tie the game. down 2 TDs with 4 minutes tho go, I'm sure they were just as high (nearly impossible)

and no. the onside kick came into play when tomlin decided to punt it instead of going for it on 4th and 1.
if 4th and 1 is succesful and it ends up in points, now the raiders have to play footbal (like the rams had to when they fumbled the ball back up by 7 ) instead of just eating clock

You can look up the odds easily.

                    I'm sure they were long.

                    And they lost.

So while this was almost an example of the thing you said happens all the time. It is in fact an example of a team with (probably) long odds losing.

They did lose in a more entertaining manner than expected though. Which I enjoyed.

well you are not that........nevermind. I will explain to you this. If I believed the NFL was fixed I would stop watching. I am sure there are millions of fans that think like I do. I have better things to do with my time than to watch a "fixed" product.

I believe that players or refs can influence point spreads through external corruption.

Nah I don't believe the games are fixed. I think the cat would had been let out of the bag a long time ago if the games were fixed.

note that neither the niners or tampa had to rely on an onside kick like tomlin pretty much accepted after the decision to punt
