He looked to me to fill with better power than we have seen from Bush.
I watched Bush closely in the BAL game. The guy has lost at least 3 steps. The fact that Spillane was getting snaps instead of Bush tells you what the coaches think. Gilbert can't stay healthy. The Steelers lack of depth on both sides is dismaying.

On D, lack of depth is definitely an issue.

On O, the issue isn't lack of depth, the issue is lack of quality starters.

And I'll settle for not bad Ben. Especially if we can run (KC I think has the 2nd worst run D... To us of course)
My gut feeling...Ben's gonna have to have a monster game to give us a chance.

Is Gilbert still hurt now? If he isn't, he may be healthy enough to help them.

I've ALWAYS liked Gilbert. Way more than Marcus Allen.
Even when healthy I've always felt that he gets no love.

He feels like a guy we cut next year who becomes a productive starter elsewhere like the dude we lost to the Ravens.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

            TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Would be amazing if it works out that way.

Or he is what he is and he makes the Ravens worse...

i hope he has a monster post season.

why not treat the rest of the post season like it’s the 4th Q?

i bet he comes out throwing like it’s 2005.

LJ Fort did not make them worse.

                                well, it didn’t matter..

                                DJ dropped passes

Ben threw deep on 3rd and short

Accuracy was gone on most passes over 10 yards until garbage time.

                                7 straight punts

                                Najee finally fumbled

D probably plays better if we extend a few drives early but 7 straight punts made it easy for KC to expose this defense.

                                Clearly outmatched.
