First time in history there's been a #7 seed, isn't it?

Well, I went to SRU with some guys from Aliquippa in the 70's. Tony Dorsett was there when they were.
The story goes TD of course was a superstar even then. He goes out for track, I don't know what year it was. First meet and he runs the 100 yard dash. It was yards back then. He wins of course. After the time was official he asks" that's the school record right". Coach says "yes it is". Tony says good, I quit ending his track career.
This is an urban legend of course but my friends swore to it.

Last year was the first "super wild card weekend" I think.

Nice. My mom’s family is from Aliquippa so I’m real familiar with the area and have a bunch of friends and family from there.

I heard the same rhetoric about Indianapolis against the Jaguars. Everybody said The Colts would blow them out. Anyone who suggested otherwise was hooted at. You know how that ended. Blow out the other way. I have always thought that the team who is supposed to win easily, subconsciously relaxes. Makes them ripe to be surprised and taken down.

The Steelers have performed poorly in the last few playoffs, when they were expected to win. Maybe flip the script this time and do what few expect from them, which is play well and win.
But I agree with people who say, throwing quick underneath passes until the fourth quarter won't get it done. Open it up a little. Roethlisberger's arm is not what it was, but go deeper.

Colder weather could also be a factor.

Florio picked the Steelers 27-24. There is a winning path that a few bold souls are willing to light.

I knew they would give them trouble.
first of all, jax has given them trouble recently and don't forget florida is unlike most of the US with no mask mandates.
teams go down there and its like back to normal times for a couple days

                      Isn't Florio a Steelers fan?

I think someone else pointed this out but looking at KC's W/Ls if the Steelers can somehow find a way to get to 30 pts in this game then it is winnable. They've only broken the 30 pt barrier once this season with their offense. I don't think the Steelers usual path of 20 pts scored and tough defense is gonna work against KC. So we need the defense to add a couple this weekend. But KC's been playing some pretty clean football lately. Not gonna be easy any way you slice it.
