I think 17 pts came off turnovers.

I really thinking winning the turnover battle is key.

I think that the Steelers should employ the screen game more. Not their usual screen game - sling it out wide to one of three receivers in a bunch formation with the other two being his blockers who never block. I'm thinking the traditional type of screen.

RB stays in to chip a pass rusher and then slips out, the line lets the pass rushers get some penetration to give the RB open space behind them (should be easy, just tell your O linemen to pass block like they normally do) and get a couple of fatties to block for Najee. After a couple of those it slows down the pass rush and maybe Ben is not under pressure all day long.

Lol, I've never seen a team worse at running the RB screen than the Steelers. Back gets out in front of linemen, linemen miss blocks, RB falls down, Ben misses him by a mile...it's something different every time.

              yep.. it never works.

also, the Chiefs probably run more screens than any other team so I would think
they would be all over it anyway.

Saw some predictions earlier, nobody of course is taking the Steelers. Score predictions in article - 33-16, 34-16, 34-21, 36-17. In some ways it's similar to the predictions before the Colts playoff game, nobody was giving the Steelers a shot although this would be a bigger upset by a good margin. That Steelers team was 11-5 and easily could've been 13-3, lost two OT games, had a 4 game win streak at the end of the season too.

                  Here's hoping history repeats

Lord knows that if we win it will be a similar heart attack inducing affair.

we had to win out to make the playoffs in 2005. When we were 7-5 it looked like the season was over.

Similar feel as far as getting blown out so bad no one believes we have a shot. I think we show up and show out this game.

Also, Watt didn’t show up at all that game. One of those games where you “burn the tape”

DJ fumbling when no one touched him. Ben had a turnover or 2. Boz missed a chip shot. Game was so bad I hope KC takes us lightly.

Would really love to see JC actually be a difference maker at Center and open some holes.

The comparisons to 2005 are silly. That D was complete, the Steelers had a great OL and could run the ball and Ben wasn't a statue.

Yeah I can't imagine any other way, would be one of the biggest upsets in recent NFL history in the playoffs if it happens.

Yeah, as unlikely as our run that year was, a Super Bowl run this season would be far more unlikely with what we currently have

Agreed. The 2005 team got hot at the end of the season and rolled into the playoffs playing good ball. This years team is limping in with a long list of problems. Anything can happen but it would have to be a drastic change from what we’ve seen over the past few months.

It's a real head-scratcher how we find ourselves in the postseason. And while some of the teams we've beaten lately have been playing pretty awful, we did beat the number 1 seed. I still can't believe we beat the Titans. Maybe they took us too lightly? A trap game for them?

Anything can happen on any given Sunday/weekend. A few turnovers go our way, Watt brings the heat, Ben doesn't turn the ball over, suddenly, we're beating the Chiefs.
