As soon as the Raiders got the ball back up 12 I said just don't kick a FG. From that point on it felt like the universe was conspiring to keep the Steelers out. All the third and fourth down conversions, the two pointer, the penalties, the back and forth FGs in OT. The saving grace was that on 3rd and 4 from the 39, the Chargers gave up 10 yards to put the ball within FG range. Had the Chargers held to even 5 yards, giving the Raiders a longer 52 yard attempt, they might not have gone for it. But a 47 yard FG was close enough to try.
