    Steelers/KC

Travis Kelce is in Covid protocol ... if the game takes place as scheduled, and he can't play, it will be a tremendous help to our chances, IMO, because if he plays, I can't see any way we can adequately defend him.

No Kelce, Steelers 23, KC 17

If Kelce plays, KC 31, Steelers 23

Lol, if Kelce, Hill, and Mahomes are all out with Covid, I like the Steelers chances against the 10-pt spread. If the Steelers come out with the same game plans as usual, this will be a 30-pt game by halftime.

The Steelers don't start playing until the half. By then will be 34-6

Actually I think this matchup is better for us because the Chiefs are not a running team. I think we get defensive td in this one.

Reading these comments is depressing. I wanted to enjoy this week basking in the glory of the Titans victory.
If TJ plays we have a good chance per the statistics. Our offense never got out of the starting gate against the Titans. When thinking logically I don't see us having a chance. The 10 point spread seems low but I can remember winning on the road as 11 point underdogs against a superior team in the past. Being the eternal optimist I will of course pick the Steelers, 21-17.

I agree however, not showing up until after the half against a team that can score a lot is a bad recipe.

I think we lose unless we can win the turnover battle by 2 or more again.

A TD from the D or ST would be great to have this week.

                KC - 777,777
                Steelers - 2

TJ comes through with a 5 sack performance including a Safety.

He does the Safety Dance and we all celebrate and high 5.

Unfortunately, Pat M throws for 7000 yards and 700 TDs while blind folded.

CEH has a career game and sets the single season rushing record this week.

Ingram gets his retribution and gets 10 stop sacks and passes TJ for the season sack record by the 3rd Q.

We rejoice that Kielce is out, but it doesn’t matter and Bush can’t cover Blake Bell who puts up epic numbers and sets a FF TE record for most points in a game ever.

Tomlin gets the team fired up after the final 2 min warning. And the O turtles the ball down field looking to put up some points but unfortunately runs out of time with a pass break up where 5 foot DB out jumps and out muscles Claypool in the end zone for what turns into a pick 6. Chase stops abs complains to the official and pouts while the DB runs down the field for a TD.

its on brand for this site.

that being said, it wouldn’t shock me if you lost a close game or gutted out a W.

I still feel like this season is week to week and if Detroit can beat AZ, why can’t we beat KC?

I’m also more confident with Haden playing.. our secondary is much better when guys are playing their natural positions.

Mike Tomlin says Chris Jones has been able to impact the game a lot more the last month because he's playing inside more. What he didn't say. That's partially because the Steelers traded them Melvin Ingram...

Under this scenario, someone on this board would be ecstatic, because TJ's season stat total would be gaudy enough to guarantee him DPOY.

                        Yip-eee.

For me it depends on who KC has healthy, and not in Covid protocol. If Jones plays, good luck on offense, as he will terrorize the middle where the Steeler turnstiles play. As for Kelce, pray he is out because Bush and company will be running after his jersey number all game. It's a mismatch in many ways, but with Covid, a few turnovers, and a couple of helpful calls, one never knows.

*I just heard T.Hill is also going on the Covid list*

This game we start fast and have to hang on. It will be a complete reversal to the norm this season. We will start off with a huge lead and late miscues will allow KC back in it. This year Santa is wearing Black and Gold..
