    Since Cowher Retired

FIRST COUPLE YEARS : Win The Super Bowl

NEXT COUPLE YEARS : GET TO SUPER BOWL BUT LOSE IT

AFTER THAT: GET TO PLAYOFFS BUT NOT TO THE SUPERBOWL

WAY AFTER THAT: GET TO THE PLAYOFFS SOMETIMES BUT NEVER WIN IN THE PLAYOFFS

AND FINALLY: SUCK REAL BAD PLAYOFFS? PLAYOFFS?

Seriously, easy trend to see, the further Tomlin coaches the worst the team gets from the tradition of what he took over. Now we're not just bad but even soft.

Playing on the Road on a Short Week, after beating your rival vs a Team who lost on the final play of the game probably isn't the best game to make this point.

Yup. Don't like the excuses, but whoever scheduled this Thursday game after a late start vs their #1 rival, didn't do them any favors. They look tired and worn out.

Team should have lost the Chicago, could have easily lost to Geno Smith and Seattle, tied Detroit...face it, they're not very good. Should have let Ben go and not signed all of the voidable years deals to try to cobble together a .500 team. Take your lumps, pool your money and draft picks, return in 2022 or 2023.

it appears we kicked the can down the road on this one just like our cap issues.

Same can be said for BAL this season. Easily could have 3 more losses. This division is beat up.

I expected a better performance in the first half but Thursday games usually look ugly as hell.

I also think we underestimated crowd noise in a dome. OL is at a major disadvantage and it was obvious they were 5 steps slow.

Najee was also bad in pass protection and kept ignoring the delayed blitz.

                  Yikes.

The Steelers have been outscored 78-16 in the 1st half of their last four games combined. The Plan isn't working.

takes too long for this team to wake up.

Can we have a scrimmage in warmups to trick guys into thinking its halftime when the game begins?

Also, I had a feeling when Minnesota lost to Detroit they would come out on fire.

                      I’m glad Ben came back.
I like to see him pad his stats. Team ain’t winning in the post season if he is there or gone.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Well, yeah..there's that but I wish he would have hung them up at the end of last year; Because by him coming back, he's making the franchise put off something that is going to be painful ...and that is rebuilding.

I'm sure we will be favored to win the AFC again, just like we have been the majority of years under Tomlin.

I’m not going to be fooled into a ‘rebuild’ excuse.
This team probably has as much turnover as any other team. I don’t hear that excuse for all of them.
