I certainly won't be surprised if we try to bring someone in. But I wouldn't hold my breath for any of the big name guys. I think it will be a castoff / journeyman to compete with Rudolph and Haskins.

True.. but at the same time Ben has 122 yards passing with 2 picks.. and the running game has been non-existent. 3 points on O wont win you many games

No QB in his right mind would come here with this O line. If you throw a rookie in there he will be traumatized for the rest of his career. This organization has become a sh** show. If I was the owner I would start with Kevin Colbert and work my way down. Where is Artie when this is going on?? I work for a large corporation and if Tuitt pulled this there he and his millions would have been long gone. Maybe an a$$ kicking like this will show them that the " Steeler Way " is gone forever!

The defense is certainly terrible.

But the point is that the season is basically over if we lose to the Rats next week.

And we have some question about what we should do at QB next season.

The point of bringing back Ben this season was for another shot at the playoffs. But that's basically over after next week if we lose.

Sitting him wouldn't really be about Ben. It would be about getting more information about what to do this offseason at the QB position. And probably about getting a slightly better draft pick because maybe Ben can get us an extra a win or two by force of will.

There are probably some other things we could do with vets that aren't going to be back. Maybe try to get other guys reps at CB? But we've see that when Haden's been out at least.

the FO isn't thinking that way. if they did, why would they re sign him at $5M per to be the back up.

we've heard someone in the organization had a 1st round grade on him. maybe it was tomlin/colbert
