It seems that some fans learn nothing.

What I've learned is that every team has the talent to win regardless of records, stats, fans perceptions, ect. Teams work to improve. Players and coaches are performing for jobs and potential huge contracts at the professional level. Every game is different. What happened vs X, Y, or Z teams doesn't always matter.

The factor that matters the most is how players perform on game day.

I’m sure that would get the respect of the young kids.

For the record, I have always said Tomlin is to blame for letting these vets take days off. I have never been a fan of days off for vets. It creates a divide in the locker room.

so now you're doubting the leadership of hines, pouncey, jerome, and Ben

Watch plenty, that's why it wasn't shocking this was a tight game. I even posted several times last week saying this wasn't a gimmee while others like SM were spouting this shouldn't be close. He was wrong. I was right. The Steelers have a HOF QB that is struggling to score points this season. Expecting something different when the backup is playing after two days of game prep with the starters was a pipedream. Most of us were hoping MR would be at least as good as Roethlisberger. That wasn't the case. And other than Najee, rest of the team didn't do anything to help him.

Not shocked at all. They were hand gifted last week's win against the Bears, and many still wonder? Detroit makes the PAT, and it's a Loss.

Or if Rudolph doesn’t throw it into the dirt to a wide open Ray Ray in the endzone it’s a win.

Or we have a reasonable shot at a FG if we don't fumble it twice in OT.

Missed plays every week, in every game, by just about every QB. Even the GOAT misses guys once in awhile.

so i'll ask you, why are you blaming 1 player when its something this organization has done for almost 2 decades with multiple players
Again, I don't think you are getting my point.

                        I'm not blaming anyone.

I'm saying that if people were genuinely concerned about players not taking practice seriously, they might look at the unquestioned leader of the team (with 2 SB rings as you mentioned) and his attitude about the importance of practice. But people aren't doing that. They are only pointing at Tomlin. Because I don't think they don't actually care about taking practices seriously...only that they have a reason to lay the problem solely at Tomlin's feet.

Yeah.. that pass was terrible. But if he makes it and we score rest of the game doesn’t play out exactly the way it did.

The reality is MR had us marching for a game winning FG attempt twice and DJ and Muth put it on the ground.

It kinda feels like people don’t want to blame Pat because he has played well and is a fan favorite.

Regardless of how people feel about MR I believe he did enough for us to have a chance to win this game.

And if not for a hold call we would have had 7 points instead of 3 points.

So do kickers. Can’t cherry pick plays on why the Steelers lost. It was a 60 minute epic failure on all levels (excluding Harris and Boz).

you're saying the same thing from different perspectives. he's sayin that play started with 15 seconds, ended with a fumble and recover at 8 seconds. i think i get that he's saying that they had no choice but to run that play because 57/58 yard FG in those conditions was a bad idea. meanwhile i think that you said, even if he didn't fumble, 8 seconds with no TO, we aren't sure that they even get a kick off...
