    Just Released or Waived

    DeSean Jackson, WR, Rams
    Henry Ruggs, WR, Raiders
    Jaylon Smith, LB, Packers

Steelers aren't the only team setting the "hostages" free?

Guess Ruggs had a DUI/accident that killed someone. He's in deep doo doo.

I’m surprised at Jackson being released but also surprised he has been in the league since 2008?

Maybe age and injury is a factor.

I think he was unhappy with his role in the offense. Rams probably couldn't trade him.

Ruggs has everything to do with his very recent DUI arrest. He is more concerned with prison time than playing time.

Jaylon Smith was a good player but for a very short time. After overcoming a very serious knee injury before his career began, he elevated his play to get a nice payday a couple of years ago and has fallen off drastically since. He was released by the Cowboys, and friends of mine who follow the team say his play was garbage for awhile before they bit the bullet and cut him.

Jackson has always just proven to be a me first kind of guy. Not only are those players not constructive while trying to win a championship but aging, big mouth, declining skills, backup role, and bad attitude is not a good combination in a locker room.

Pieces of the Ruggs story that drip in are just tragic . One person dead. One persons top of the world NFL career over and possible 20+ looking him in the face. Bad decisions. So so sad.

I liked Jaylon Smith in college and with Dallas. LB always turns into a position of need sooner or later.

OBJ will be following the same path soon.

Ruggs' alcohol blood level was at .161 (2x the legal limit), and he was going 156mph 2 seconds prior to impact and 127mph when the airbags deployed in his Corvette.

DWI's are down however not down enough. We need to teach our children better about bad decision making. A life can change in a second.

I don't know about that, I think that everybody knows that DWI is wrong. Some people just believe that they will beat the odds and be immune from such consequences, especially those who have felt above the law most of their lives. Take a person with a gambling, adventurous personality, throw in the bad decision making that comes with a BAC twice the legal limit, add a high performance vehicle that is capable of going over 150 without much effort, and you have a recipe for a freaking disaster.

                        .
hopefully. the locals are still upset about a local HS basketball star/UNLV recruit killing someone in a wreck while high, late in 2020. the grand jury failed to indict on criminal charges. i think its still going thru appeals.

and that road is a regular street. i would guess signal lights a quarter mile apart. 40 mph speed limit, maybe 50 mph tops.

Place I worked out is less then a mile away

Ruggs 156 MPH while driving at over twice the legal limit for alcohol crashing and killing a 23 year old mother is gonna cost him his freedom , football is likely his last consideration right now
