      Steelers 22/g
      Cards just over 30/g

And the Cards have a QB who has over 6/g while Ben has 8 total for the season. Factor that in and not too different.

I think 6 more runs per game is significant.

        that’t 100+ more attempts over 17 games.

Most of the difference would not be designed runs, but QB scrambles by Murray, which are essentially broken plays. Nothing we can do about that because we don't have a QB who turns protection breakdowns into runs.

on one of his TDs, I liked the way he got himself small and shot thru a tiny hold between two of his linemen.
that's something I rarely saw here. he hesitated too much before hitting an opening while a steeler.

of course, that's once again nothing to do with the coaching aspect of the game. amirite???????

as a short yardage/goal line back. I think his numbers aren't too bad.

a few fumbles or failures in key situations and the AZ fans might start calling him 'the bus'

Yeah.. I don’t know how many designed runs he has per game vs scrambles but O think the threat of him running helps

and of course taking off when nothing is there is also a benefit.

damn shame the AZ coaches lost that game last night with that INT.

Pretty sure that one was on Tomlin, not the AZ coaches

Usually the following is said sarcastically. This time it is sincere.

                            Fixed that for you.

Don't want that sweet sweet sarcasm missed.

(Yes I know I'm an always shouting "CAPAHOLIC" but I just gotta make that geat point stand out.)

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                            TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

if that were a tomlin coached team they would have won by 50. obviously, on long blades of grass, if you will

Well said. Gone are the days of Decastro, Pouncy, Big Al, and Muchnak as the coach. Their replacements clearly are not good. How else can you explain Conner?
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***
