Pickett’s draft stock is rising rapidly at the moment however I read that he has really small hands so as we get closer to the 2022 draft and he’s more closely scrutinized I can see him dropping out of the first round.Obviously the standard is the standard.Comment

wouldn't it be ironic that we passed on Marino and another Pitt QB takes us to the Promised Land...Comment

I believe his stock keeps rising. He is putting up ridiculous numbers.Steelers 27

but that has since been debunked and they measure at 9+.
i have no idea if that corraltes to "big" hands nor the success that comes from itComment

it was a sloppy day. Guys were putting the ball on the ground left and right.
He had an INT and lost 2 fumbles.. and from what I remember there were probably 2 more that could’ve been called but luckily the refs blew the plays dead or made bad calls.
It was the typical “PITT is finally ranked” so
lets go blow it loss. Its probably a blessing because they would be ranked in the top 15 or higher if they were undefeated.Steelers 27

Seems like that adds even more uncertainty to the pick than there is already.
I also think that players in the NCAA can defer their draft for a year because of the lost season. I wonder if this is part of the reason that we were happier than normal to sell picks in the upcoming draft. Maybe we are devaluing the mid to late picks next year because we think there will be fewer NFL caliber players?Comment

If Pickett is available and we pick mid to late first round, yes.. I would take that gamble.
Part of the reason he came back his senior year is because Pitt had some ballers coming back this year.Steelers 27

And they should know more about Pitt players than any other team in the NFL does.Comment
