Honestly speaking, If Darnold can't succeed with Joe Brady as his OC, there's really no hope for him. He has gone back to his former bad habits.

Matt Rhule said they benched Darnold to try and get a spark. It wasn’t injury. It wasn’t to protect him.

It was because they feel like Darnold has hit a wall.

and one other point. The Panthers OC Joe Brady has had 5 head coaching interviews his first year in the NFL as an OC.

Dude has lived off that one year of Joe Burrow LSU hype for 2 to 3 years and his offense has been trash since he came to the NFL.

I’ll be honest, Matt Rhule sounds a bit in over his head. Dude says a whole bunch of fluff and the joke is the nicer he talks about a player, the closer that player is to being dealt.

He heaped a ton of praise on Cam Newton and couldn’t wait to work with him.. all
while looking for a trade partner.
