OT: Shamless gloating of Sam Darnold

Joke post but I know a few people thought he was a good option and used his first 3 games as proof he was better than he looked in NY.

However, these last 2 games have shown he is the same old Sam. They are already talking about who should be the next QB in Carolina on sports radio.

He had his 4th worst rating last game vs the Iggles. Steven Nelson picked him off to seal the win.

He is seeing ghost again.

People wanted to throw parades for Sam Darnold because he played well against the Texans and Jets.

Now Sam Darnold is playing like Sam Darnold.. lol. These last 2 weeks are prime examples of why he wasn’t the answer for our franchise.

Pretty much all of these QB’s like Darnold, Wentz, Jimmy G and such are just more expensive Mason Rudolph’s IMO.

Agree. Those other guys may be marginally better but the price difference is huge. I'd rather see them go with Rudolph and throw like 9 draft picks at mid-round QBs (assuming there's not a legit first rounder) than try to go with one of the guys you mentioned above.

we got Haskins for nothing.

Carolina gave up 3 draft picks for Darnold and I believe we have seen the best from Darnold and IMO there is no upside.

I would much rather pay a roster minimum than give up a 6th in 2021, and a second and 4th in 2022.

I think Carolina will regret this move. If Haskins doesn’t pan out, I don’t think
anyone will regret it in our org.

I'll take a cheaper Mariota over Rudolph.

These other guys discussed are overpriced average, but I would still take Darnold over Goff or Wentz.
