Yea that was weird. The RB should have just taken a knee if he didn't want to score on that play.

Chargers were in a tough spot. They probably wanted the touchdown but not that quickly. The way their kicker was going, that FG was no guarantee.

Chargers should have taken one knee to get another 40 seconds off the clock. They had timeouts to spare and could have tried for the TD then and a FG as a last resort.
