    What happened to Pierre?

Was he demoted or is he injured?

It might be as simple as Norwood and Maulet (instead of Pierre) allow you to play Mike Hilton ball, and get more aggressive with your slot guy. Last season both Sutton and Hilton were used as the third CB depending on whether you wanted a cover guy in the slot, or a blitzing run stopper.

Looking at his stats I believe he was demoted. Read that he was targeted a ton in the Vegas game.

Sounds like Sutton didn't practice yesterday (?). So Pierre might get more snaps.

Pierre is young and still learning. Too early to quit on him

I'm more curious about the CB we traded for

Witherspoon? He's the one that got beat by Ruggs on Raiders 61 yard TD that sealed the loss.

              and?

Everyone gets beat in football. CB’s, Safeties, lineman, etc

Does he bounce back or continue to get abused?

              Hopefully its the former.

Moats says the blame on the play goes to Pierre hesitating on the blitz. If he came full speed at the snap Carr never has a chance to get the ball to Ruggs.

This week Pierre was the hero in the game. Nice progress by the young guy.

I wouldn't go that far. yes he made a play on the last snap

he gave up the long TD to sutton and would have been another if bridgewater puts a little more on it on the last drive

Pierre doesn't have the long speed. Once WR's are even with Pierre they are able to run past him. Playing press coverage probably isn't his strong suit. Especially if there isn't any help over the top.

The long TD pass was a teaching moment for Pierre. Don't give up a quick 6 or potential quick 6 in that situation. Give up the underneath passes but make the opposition work a little harder for the 6 while burning time off the clock.

A play that helped seal the win.

CB’s get burned from time to time. It was nice seeing him bounce back after giving up that TD.

consecutive drives is a little different then time to time

I like the way the game ended and hope this helps his confidence.
