did you get a chance to see how Lamar Jackson dealt with Von Miller?

LJ passed for 316 yards, raising his career record now to 37-13.

what a total bust and flop in the NFL he has turned out to be, huh?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

and that’s why I’m a big believer in compounding interest. If each guy gets a little better, the overall bet improved considerably. Small improvements add up slowly but surely. And it’s why we have seen a lot of Mikey T teams improve as the seasons goes on.
        Crossing my fingers.

Thought they looked better against GB. Not good, but better.

If Ben and JuJu connect on those pass plays I doubt we talk about how bad the OL is and how Ben didn’t have any time.

but these passes behind the LOS have to stop on critical downs.

Maybe it's just me but it seems on 3rd or 4th and short it is either pass BLOS or sideline bomb. Nothing intermediate.

In yesterday's game, Muth was completely uncovered on the 4th and 4 play and Roethlisberger, with a clean pocket, never went through his progression nor looked his way. He made up his mind before the snap.

Yet another miss that could have changed the game . These guys are gonna see this shatshow on tape in team meetings and are going to start to question their QB.

I’m sure they are questioning the QB AND the coaches.

These 4th down plays are ridiculous. Ben has turned into Andy Dalton with these lame passes that have no chance of a first down.

Not going to have to wait to see the tape, they already know

Might be part of the reason they look like they've given up

Sorry, but Ben isn't the whole problem but he is a big part of the problem. He isn't seeing the field and he can't make the throws consistently anymore. He looks like a rookie panicking to get rid of the ball

I would be really interested to know what the progression is supposed to be on those two 4th down plays.

And how much it's prescribed by the play call vs. how much control the QB has over the progression based on pre-snap read.

My guess is that a vet HoF QB has a lot of control at the LoS. But who knows. Ben specifically said that he has much less control than he did last year...at least re: no huddle, hurry up stuff.

I think what we are seeing here, and it is something I've been saying for awhile, is that Ben is seeing ghosts and is afraid to take a hit whether he has time or not. If Ben was younger I think that it is something that you can work on with him. Unfortunately, even if you get the line right, Ben may not follow suit.

                            I think this seems reasonable.

A QB with the yips is not a winning QB. Can Roethlisberger do a Simone Biles and tap out?

This is why Ben's not at practice on Wednesdays. Trying to get over the Yips

Also...I'm old. The students in my class were not quite a decade away from being born when this was released.
