I might be in the minority, but I think Kordell was mostly a good thing for our team.

    Who's the Lemming now?!

i didn't say to draft him. instead trade down to a team that did like him especially knowing the ravens liked him. when the draft rolls around teams hear inside info on other clubs all the time

We're seeing the "same old movie" again this year. So sad. Still dead last in rushing and nearly dead last in passing. And you can't blame James Conner this time around. But Cool Shades says nothing to change, keep everything the same.

I know you aren't attacking James Connor, but I do think those on the board who said he was better suited as a #2 back and not a starter were likely spot on ( I admit my emotions on Connor made me hope he was at that level). Granted, it's early but his stats look like he is being used the right way in AZ (almost on pace to reach his career high in TD's at 12)

Conner is like JuJu. People think I hated Conner but I simply didn't believe he was a bell cow RB. I always hoped he would be our #2 and finish teams off (fumbling was an issue).

I loved JuJu when he was drafted because I watched him beat PSU in the Rose Bowl with some incredible second half catches. But I knew he wasn't a true #1 and once AB left he wasn't the same WR.

Conner is in a good spot in AZ with a mobile QB who is similar to Lamar. That threat to run gives RB's a lot more room to work.

Hopefully our next QB has some wheels and gives teams fits while also having a good arm.

I have nothing against Conner, just that the team banking on him being a #1 RB was a mistake, and they should have known better, but pursued that plan anyhow. Did you see that play in AZ this year where he stiff armed 2 defenders on route to a 1/2 yard game? Made me laugh.

Harris should end up a solid RB, but in this movie, he and little else, works on O. Somehow this $2 billion organization hasn't figured out a solution yet, or even close. Is the front office and coaching staff working for free?

He was not going to get taken in the 1st round period, nor the 2nd, probably not in the 3rd. And it turns out all the other teams were right in their evaluation of him as it turns out. He's a 4th round talent.

Conner put up #1 RB numbers his first year as starter in 2018. He rushed for 973 yards (4.5 ypc), 12 TDs. He caught 55 balls for 497 yards in 13 games. Those look like starter caliber numbers to me.

Would you give him an opportunity to start with that production?

2018 was the year Bell was franchised and end up sitting out the year. The Steelers probably expected Bell to return that year. MOST of us know what happened.

Connor's biggest issue like most RB in the league is remaining healthy.

You don't even consider the facts. You constantly trash the organization.

Yeah I am one of those fans. A real fan. I don't sit here and constantly trash the organization. I attempt to look at the over all picture and understand the situation. For example, why the team choose to start Conner in 2018 and 2019.

I may never be considered a genius. However, I am a genius at common sense.

He was taken in the first round, period.

You don't know what would had happened in the draft. The Bengals selected a safety at 55 in 2nd round before the Steelers pick at 60. 4 S were taken in the 3rd round. 4 S were taken in the 4th round.

Looking at Edmund's measurables it's probably safe to say Edmunds would had been selected before the 4th round by another team.
