    Dionte Johnson

Ruled out this week! ANOTHER brilliant move by Dumb Ass Tomlin! " Let's throw a 5 yard crossing pattern, 60 yards from the end zone, down 2 scores, on the last play of the game "

So now he's out this game...HOF COACH! LMAO!

What do you think you would post if we ended a loss in "victory formation"?

I’ve seen countless last plays that are passes or runs that “could” end in injury.

Tomlin calls plays on defense AND offense? The man does it all.

That is on Canada and Ben… and sometimes ish just happens.

Nothing good could have came out of that last play...You either go for the win, or kneel, nothing else...

Why would run a play when the ONLY outcome of said play is BAD! That's bad Coaching, and Dumb!

Why risk your best WR on a play that was meaningless...nothing good could have came from it,so why risk it?

Things that CAN be prevented, like this...Should be prevented! If you're not gonna go for the W, kneel... Don't risk injury on a meaningless play!

No good comes out of anything that Tomlin helps the Steelers accomplish. Was it the right decision to put players in harms way when the gave was over? Probably not. I don't agree with the decision that Tomlin made. Doesn't mean Tomlin is an idiot or bad coach because I disagree.

It's a good thing that the Steelers have other players that they can rely on to play WR.

That's not a fair argument. There is something in between throwing a cross to your #1 WR and ending the game in a victory formation. That was an insanely stupid call by the head coach. There was nothing to gain, but much to lose with that call. It could very well cost us this game.

Tomlin and co. coached a brilliant game vs. the Bills, and I acknowledged that.

That final play call of the Raiders game was one of the dumbest I have seen in a lifetime of watching football. "Insanely stupid" is putting it mildly, IMO. I hope we never again see something like that from the Steelers.

Johnson has been the best route-runner and Ben's favorite target thus far this season. He's the best of all our WRs at getting separation. It's going to hurt to have him out.

On to week 3 and the Bumgals.

Tomlin is the OC now and also throws the football?

yes, always if it's a bad call or results in injury.

So you'd not be blaming Tomlin if we ran up the gut and Najee got hurt?

Injuries happen. The coach can't turn them off like people do in Madden.

Johnson is sightly built guy. Harris is not. Tomlin deserves blame in our loss. Not sure he did much vs the Bills coaching wise.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***
