Terrible way to start the season
Any idea how long Watt is out?

Nothing said about TJ yet.
Per Jerry Dulac: Tyson Alualu is out the rest of the year. Having surgery on his ankle tomorrow.sigpic -
Tyson might decide to retire. Unfortunately the Steelers loss a capable starter/backup in Tyson. Hopefully Tuitt can return this year.
Man the Steelers have been snake bit on the defensive side of the ball the past several years.Last edited by BURGH86STEEL; 09-19-2021, 06:14 PM.Comment

We’ll probably have to wait until Tomlin’s presser on Tuesday to find out more on Watt.
I really hate the Alualu injury. Solid backup. I knew he broke his ankle when I saw the air cast.Comment

Haden and Bush have the same situation, the defense will be without 3 starting, very good to great, players for a few weeks. The offense is going to have to grow up quick or the season could spiral out of control before it even gets started.

Props to Feltdizz and I…
We kept saying that Watt being out of camp usually leads to injury and wa-la, there it is.Comment

Except for the fact that Bush and Haden also have groin injuries, just like Watt, and they played in preseason. Pretty much destroys your TJ got hurt because he held out (in) argument.
It's football. Injuries happen.
Now had he hurt that groin in Week 1, or late in game 2 as fatigue set in, then I might be more inclined to say it was related.Comment

Injuries coming at us like a tidal wave. Curious to see where we go now as far as depth.Last edited by Steel Maniac; 09-20-2021, 09:33 AM.Comment
