Not that shocked that he pulled a groin after not practicing with the team all preseason

Just like brother J.J., raking in millions while sitting on the sideline

Wow wtf? He's on the sideline for the first time in his career. He doesn't deserve this nonsense here at all.

I thought it was the right decision to punt at the time. There was still time left for the Steelers to have an opportunity to win the game.

Never changes? Maybe haven't pay attention over the years? I understand that losses are disappointing. But never changes? Ok whatever.

That’s bull chit. Who says it was the right call. You and sone others on here who think tomlin does no wrong.

Did you just see what the Vegas offense did? Why would you hand the ball back to them. While we’re fighting the clock.

I guess he lived on his fears again.

Blaming Tomlin for this loss is laughable.

The D lost Haden, Bush, Alualu and Watt! It’s mediocre without all that talent. And the Raiders O is good.

              Everything’s gonna be alright.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

I would be ok with going for it on 4th down or punting. Punting was probably the safer choice. Our O SUCKS in short yardage situations.

Also, our D ended up in a nice 3rd and 10 situation. And gave up a 61 yard TD.

And that is where the depth/injuries reared its ugly head...

Haden in there different guy blitzing the QB different guy on Biggs.

On another point...am I wrong or does Highsmith look pretty ineffective on rushing the passer?

Pressure wasn't getting there in 2nd half

the reason its such a bad call is because you pretty much have to be perfect the rest of the game.

you relied on a record setting FG of 56 yards in heinz field to get the 1 score but were afraid to gain a half yard the previous possession.

he is again getting exposed for his game time decesions

We can't because Ben has no mustard on his long throws. So even when a WR gets separation long, by the time Ben's lollipop throw with air under it that doesn't need to be with no mustard on the throw comes down professional DBS are normally going to get back in position to contest & knock down the pass.

Since Ben has no mustard anymore he puts air under almost every long throw & the wides have to do double the work.
Wrong, WR not getting separation, running plays terrible, dropping balls…

And our offense is mostly a flaming bag of poop.

If these injuries are bad enough that a fair number of guys miss the early supposedly easy part of our schedule it might get ugly.

This offense has SUCKED in short yardage situations. If we had come up short, and we likely would have, the game was over. And Tomlin would get grief for whatever play didn’t make it.

I see no issue with Tomlin’s call. There was plenty of time left.

We just ran completely out of horsepower.

$80 million dollar man gave us ONE game. No Bush, Haden, Alualu.

And the Raiders are a good team.

lol. Depends on how you define “everything” and “alright”.

the $80M man made more plays in this game, playing only a half, then the rest of the highly regarded defense made all game

fitchner and conner aren't here anymore. we've heard howgreat canada is, how great Najee has looked.

yes, the OL is awful. by punting there, everything from that point on has to fall perfect for the steelers.
with 8 + minutes on the clock and a first down there the situation is much less dire
