I bet it feels like an eternity when fans like Joel have to wait 7 days for a chance to shamlessly gloat after a loss

if and when we finally lose a game he will pepper the board with 5
to 6 threads with all of our flaws.

The truth. Are are 29th in yards out of 32 teams. I'll take the win but counting on a blocked punt and your opponents "C" game is not a good strategy .We've got problems. We also might be 2-0. Will need to score more than 24 points to beat the Raiders. The defense isn't holding everyone to 16 point...the Truth. Ben is lookin every bit like the 39 year old he is.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

last year whatever/squidkid didn't post on this board until Week 12.

          I wonder why that was?

That is when I registered. This year we be 7-5 ( 6-6 or 5-7 after 12 games ) and I am viewing it like a homer. What would you wager our record after 12 is? Speak up. You just might get a wager from someone.

Ps. I suffered a bad shoulder tear. Hurts to type. Sorry for the short posts.

If it’s between not playing really well and winning vs. playing excellent and losing. I’ll take the former every time.

It was nice to see the defense dominate a good offense/good qb like that. They lived up to their big salaries/talent/high drafted positions.
hopefully they can keep that going, especially in the playoffs

Let's hope everyone on the team exceeds the values of their cap hit.

That's how you win in capped leagues IMO.

                    bur by who?

that was killebrews 1st game with the Steelers after being signed as a ST ace from Detroit.

danny smith and the head coach have been here for the nfl equivalent of an eternity.
I’ve never seen a block from this team from a move off of what MK did.
not saying it couldn’t have been this staff, but do you have a link confirming it.
like someone like MK in the presser crediting white/tomlin

Been there done that. If you have access to rehab take advantage of that. It makes a difference

Avoid surgery. Most complicated there is and no one I know who got surgery had a great result

dang. it's only week 1 - and an impressive win over a SB contender at that.

The only truth I know is that the season is too young to make any long term predictions. I think it's safe to say the Defense will be really good and keep us in many games. I think the O-line will be a work in progress and will have good plays and bad. I think Ben is experienced enough to overcome O-line difficulties. I think it's way to early to declare Najee a bust.

but mostly I just think it's way too early to know anything.

Had an uncle who's surgery got botched. Surgeon accidentally cut a nerve making my uncle's arm useless. They ended up amputating it because it was basically just hanging there. Sad.

The last time we won a SB:

                                1. We scored a measly 21.7 points per game
                                2. Allowed 13.9 per game
                                3. Running game and Oline were not impressive at all.
                                4. Even Ben had modest numbers

We are off to a shockingly similar start. If our defense had gone from very good to "great" we have a chance.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher
