This idea that Green must start game 1 or its a failed pick is a bit misguided.

I’m disappointed that he’s not good enough to start game one but I’ve got to remain hopeful that he will pan out long term.

Watt didn’t practice Monday so I doubt he sees much of the field, if at all, on Sunday. It is what it is.

Yes but he hasn’t taken one snap or rep in practice or during camp. There’s a difference being in shape and being in game shape.

Exactly… guys not in game shape. If he signs tomorrow, the question would then be is he physically ready to even play? I don’t think so.

the Steelers must be close to signing him, I will be surprised if he doesn't play against the Bills albeit in a limited capacity.

I fully expect Watt to get some game action if signed by Wednesday but he will be limited. I’d be surprised if he’s not signed tonight or early tomorrow. I don’t think either side wants to see this drag on any longer then it needs to be.

It’s already been too long. This should of been done at least 3 weeks ago. Now he’s going to try and rush himself into game shape. And a lot of the time players pull hammys trying to get into shape.
