They devalued Hilton too much; I knew he was gonna be tougher to replace than they thought. Brooks never had a prayer at replacing Hilton.

yeah.. Nelson slipped in the beginning of the year but IMO defenses were struggling early across the league (partially due to no holding calls the first qtr of the season).

Nelson’s play was stronger in the second half of the season.

A #2 CB abused by Diggs? That has never happened before!!

8 games Diggs had over 100 yards. Even the best get torched sometimes so Nelson (who I don’t think is the best but is a good #2 in our system) getting beat by Diggs isn’t a gotcha moment.

last 9 games gave up 2 TD’s

of course NJ brings up Diggs abusing Nelson. Newsflash.. Diggs does that to most DB’s.

If you release a player you should already have someone as good or better to replace them IMO. I’m not sure Sutton is going to be as good but lets hope so.

Diggs? The guy who exposed most of the league these past few years and is a top flight WR?

Sure.. I have no problem with that. Nelson isn’t a number one. That we know.. but he was a solid number 2 and now we are shopping for CB’s.
