    Pretty accurate pre-game call.

This was BEFORE the Lions game. Listen starting about 8:45 in. Prophetic.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    Nice find.

    A great start for Ben.

Hope this continues for the whole season.

There was one play where Ben looked like his younger days evading a sack and scrambled for a td to the TE. hope that's not all season tho lol

That is the point I noticed in the video. Not only was his arm strong, he said essentially that he has moved like young Ben and that we WOULD SEE THAT.

In other words what we saw was what he has TYPICALLY looked like in practice. He looks like this so often that what we saw was PREDICTABLE.

        THAT is exciting.

He'll probably benefit from having some mobility early in the season as the revamped OL gels.

I've been skeptical of old man Ben.

But I agree 100% with being excited about the prospect of him having a very good season after the Lions game.

Just about ready for our hype man (Flippy) to take us into the season.

I thought he was done too (although I was fine once we got him on the cheap).

Although he has implied he never had interest in leaving, imagine if he was let go and signed with a team that just lacks a QB....

Dude might have done a "Tampa Tom" on us!!!

I get the concerns and we should still have them regarding Ben. I think the end of the season is when we started to see a decline in his play.

I’m hoping it was due to that hit in the Cowboy game and having no faith in the running game.

Hopefully it wasn’t due to fatigue. He looked really good and if he plays like that all season he may not be done after this year.

It's a mirage. The first hit to the knee and he will revert to old Roethlisberger. (and he will get hit with this OL).

I think there's a reasonable chance that happens next season.

I think he goes right to UFA after the end of this league year (since his years void before the end of the league year). And I don't think he'll be good enough to warrant the franchise tag.

So he will be able to command market rate if he wants to.

I think next off season will be very interesting / exciting / frightening.

I think this is worth worrying about.

And I think it would be naïve to think that opposing defense don't know that too.

Very possible. I would not say, "inevitable" in today's softer game.

Nevertheless, if an actual injury can be avoided...possibilities are too exciting to dismiss.

did you watch the video? they said mostly everything they ran in camp last year was short.
                            this year not as much,
even using the phrase "not listening to what they're saying how the arm feels, listening to what they're doing in practice".
the pass plays being run n camp is telling us how the arm is feeling
