Freiermuth will definitely be on the field when we're in the red zone.

I thought Ebron looked pretty good, we are really solid at TE.

PF has hands n he can play the Y. Ebron is much more receiver than TE but I would agree he is not special. If we found a trade partner I would not mind at all.

Ebron's blocking is sub par for what we need, so they keep him for his hands.

          But he drops too many.

The first drop was frustrating. He needed to attack the ball. The defender had an arm in there but he still should’ve caught it.

I think he looked decent on his other targets. Ebron still creates mismatches and should be used in between the 20’s.

Pat showed he has the hands we need for the RZ. That second catch was sick. Now we see why we picked him in the second round.

Ebron did throw a block that helped Harris spring his 46 yd catch, so there is that.

I didn't watch the game but I've seen the highlights. Ebron's final stat line is still pretty good....even though that drop was ugly (I agree it was some nice movement by Ben)

This is just what Ebron is. He'll get his catches and yards. But will make drops that will upset us.

Hopefully that's a bar that Pat F can clear as early as this season.

This offense can live without Efron however PF might hit that Rookie Wall down the stretch.
Here's hoping Gentry turns into Matt Spaeth 2.0

Ebron is a one year option as an experienced TE while 'muth gets acclimatized to the NFL. After this season he is gone, but he can have an impact this season and win us a few games.

I think this is the way the team sees it. And that is a good way to mitigate risk.
