Doesn't the act have to be directed at a player? Watt never faces a player when he kicks.

Not sure, but Aaron Rodgers belt celebration was used as an example and that isn’t directed at anyone specifically.

My guess is that having it be a "point of emphasis" means that it will be called pretty liberally and things like this will get flags (but maybe not against big name players?).
