    Troy Polamalu HOF Speech

For those that haven’t seen it, I suggest find it and watch. Unbelievable. He summed up what it meant to be a Steeler and the responsibility it carried in only six minutes. Canton was going nuts throughout.

Congrats Troy! Always a class act!

Troy was probably not the most important player on the Superbowl winning teams. He was arguably the best player on the Superbowl winning teams.

I don't believe we will ever see a player like Troy again in our lifetimes.

True. Troy was a unique player and a more unique dude. One of a kind.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

      TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

On a side note Hines should make the HOF.

Troy mentioned going up against Hines in practice. How that was and how Hines should get his own Gold Jacket.
I was fortunate to have gotten tickets and was enjoying the entire weekend there with my sons rocking it in section 218. Like being at a home game.
Steeler Nation was everywhere this weekend. It was great to see.

OMG! It was electrifying yesterday at the HOF to see Troy receive his jacket and the long standing ovation when he was inducted. The great Coach LeBeau gave a heartfelt introduction and Troy was sincere and humble with his heartfelt speech. It was cool to see Casey Hampton and James Harrison there as well in the audience. Troy is one of a kind as a person, player, and human being. Fa'a Samoa, Troy!'

My wife cried when he said to his sons "boys, the best thing I can do for you is love your mother".

That is really cool. Then again from your pov it kinda depends "why" (I wish MY husband would....) she cried.

Hey now...she's a kept woman. She has no wants .

Troy's speech should be required viewing for every incoming Steeler rookie.

Once again. I'm a literal kinda guy. English is my second language, so bear with me but...

She is a "kept" woman with "no wants?" Now I'm envisioning just bare necessities to keep her alive in that dungeon of yours.

Wow...that crying just took on even more meaning.

Met Brett Keisel at the speech. He was really cool.

I noticed several former Steeler players. Porter, Farrior, Harrison. I’m sure I missed others.

This is the only one I really cared about watching.

Saw it today and it didn't disappoint.

You get the sense that Troy is a pretty great person on top of being an elite football player.

Also...Alan Faneca is very small now.

I saw Hampton Keisel , Ike Taylor, Harrison.

Got to meet Cowher and Shell at the signing. Since Troy couldn’t be at that they gave a signed picture and Certificate of authenticity.

Cowher had a smile on his face every time I saw him all weekend.

Canton has a lot more there than I expected. The Hall itself was cool to go through. I had never been before.
