Re: If we win sunday wil they hand out AFC North Champ hats
I hate those hats. Why do they make them? Who buys them? Fans of the Bengals and Browns buy those hats, that who. It's a novel accomplishment to them. Steeler fans act like they have been there before (because we have...quite often, actually). We don't purchase any championship related materials until our team actually lifts the trophy in February. That's a real championship deserving of memorabilia. Division championships and conference championships are mere bumps in the road to our ultimate goal. I want no part of that.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus. -

Re: If we win sunday wil they hand out AFC North Champ hats
Would you buy it? Frankly, I wouldn't even wear it if someone gave one of those to me. The Giants were the champions last year. We weren't. I buy championship merchandise when the team gives out rings. An '07 division title means nothing in the grand scheme of things since we did not advance in the playoffs last year, so why celebrate that?Originally posted by tomiesteel08Originally posted by ASIANOriginally posted by RuthlessBurgherI hate those hats. WHat would be really cool is if Pittsburgh fans going to the game showed up in the same AFCN Champ hats. 10,000+ of them. It would be demoralizing to the Ravens fans at the stadium and watching at home.sigpicComment

Nah...if I were going there, I would bring my Super Bowl XL commerative Terrible Towel to this game, though. It would be demoralizing to the Raven fans to have 10,000+ Steeler fans wearing SBXLIII champion hats when we return to Baltimore to play them next season.Originally posted by flippyYou beat me to it. But would it make you feel better if I said I'd been feeding him over the last 5 years...for only .59 cents per month?Comment
