    best/worst of round 1

    I think we did great,

Chicago getting Feilds is also one of best moves.

    LV WTF?

I know they were LSU teammates but Joe Burrow’s one healthy knee has to be scared right now. The Bengals better go OL soon to protect their franchise.

I think good move, they will get a good OT there in round 2.

If Bengals get Jenkins or even Cosmi, then it's a win-win for them. Chase will be a beast for years to come.

Vikes nabbing Darrisaw at 23 was a steal. They dropped down, and still got a stud tackle.

i was really curious what would have happened if Darrisaw and Harris were there when we selected...

No doubt their going O-line now. Jenkins sliding to the second round means he’s going soon in the top 5 or 6 picks. Cosmi is also there so Bengals have choices to help shore up that line.

I thought they should have taken the Oregon tackle thou.

Darrisaw going down there was the steal of the first round to me. Good job by the Vikes.

You can’t tell me he shouldn’t have been the Raiders choice.

Passing on Darrisaw if he was there? Don't want to think about that one.

This is part of the reason I try not to get too involved in learning about college players. I don't want to end up hating a guy we draft because we passed on a different guy.

I think the Bears gave up a little too much to moved get Fields. Chicago might be the hardest place to play quarterback, thanks to the weather.

By a similar fashion New England just sat there and had Mac Jones all into their lap.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

i can appreciate that perspective. I found myself thinking, "we'll get one of the two... but, holy crap what do they do if they are both there?" Was glad that decision was taken away.

Probably a good thing. I personally couldn’t have passed up Darrisaw.

And as I said elsewhere, the Bungles missed the boat in my mind. Yeah, some of the OT left will be good players, but maybe not for a year or two. Sewell will be a Top 10 tackle in the league on Day 1. Burrow needs that. They could have got Marshall from LSU in Round 2 to get him a familiar target.

That said, glad the Bungles messed up...

I don't really know what the Dolphins were thinking.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.
