    49ers Trade up with Dolphins

just got an alert on my phone that SF is selling the farm to get up to #3. Does this mean they're giving up on Jimmy G? I wonder what it would cost to get him.

Now they can drop Jimmy Eyebrows and save about 24 mil, with a measly dead cap of 2.8M.

Jets pick just got more trade value.

            Fields or Young to SF?

Does this change the draft for us? Will Miami want to trade back up in the 1st?

NOW the Eagles got in the game... traded #6 to #12 with swap later picks, and a 1st rounder in 2022

Miami has the pick capital, and cap room to build something, but is Tua the guy to lead it?

Miami going for Pitts or a WR with that move.

Also, SF did things the right way with Jimmy's contract by front loading it.

Dudes, if we are planning to trade up for a QB, the Eagles might have more firepower with possible three 1st rounders ( theirs, Miami, and maybe Indy trade)

A high cost for what could be 3rd QB draft. IMO, you do this deal on draft day so you're sure you get the player you want.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

your right, weird, but then again I think the Wentz draft Cleveland traded a month before draft.

I think Miami was taking requests, and maybe SF caught wind of it, and knew they had to jump now.
