Horrible play call... straight at Donald.

Worse superbowl play, compared to Seatte not giving the ball to Lynch at the 1 yard line.
the play they tried to go long on (2nd?) in that series bit them in the a$$.

get into FG position first, then maybe try a long pass

Yep… glad to see him shake that loser label. He was a victim of a poor organization for years. Lions fans have to feel sick right now.

The hold was bogus, BUT didn't come close to making up for the non personal foul call on Higgins TD when he yanked Ramseys helmet halfway around.

Cincinnati Residents Take Solace After Loss In City’s Lack Of Culture, Terrible Food, Stupid Name, Boring Downtown
‘Who Cares About A Little Trophy When You’ve Got High Crime, Zero Distinctive Features, Mediocre Walkability,’ Say Citizens

CINCINNATI—Reacting surprisingly well to a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss against the Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati residents announced plans Sunday to take solace in their city’s reliable lack of culture, terrible food, stupid name, boring downtown, high crime, dearth of any distinctive features, mediocre walkability, and everything else they’ve got going for them in the completely unremarkable town they’ve chosen to spend their lives in. “No need to gild the lily, we’ve still got everything we need right here in this gray hole where we eke out a bland existence,” said a chipper, forgettable Cincinnati resident with a generic Midwestern name like John Murray, adding that pretty soon it would be April, when they might have a chance at seeing the sun again. “Buck up, everyone! Sure, we didn’t win, but how can you dwell on something so superficial when you have access to everything this putrid wasteland has to offer, like no central character, a deficit of culture, and cold, empty concrete buildings instead of notable museums! Give that trophy to a town that needs it, like Los Angeles. I’ll choose Cincinnati any day of the week, with its poverty rate that’s almost twice the national average, its revolting chili, and a city skyline that is little more than a brownish hue indistinguishable from the rest of Ohio. How lucky are we!” At press time, Murray had reportedly been admitted to one of Cincinnati’s many mediocre hospitals after he was deemed a danger to himself.

Love that the Rams beat this "fake" team.

Especially happy for Stafford and Aaron Donald.

Maybe a little underappreciated but Zac Taylor came from the Sean McVay coaching tree, and one thing he learned while there was the savvy use of FA to boost the roster. While the Bengals didn't trade away picks they were very aggresive in FA signings last season; CB Chidobe Awuzie, DE Trey Hendrickson, CB Mike Hilton, DT Larry Ogunjobi and OT Riley Reiff. Awuzie, Hendrickson, Hilton and Ogunjobi were all unrestricted free agents, while Reiff was a free agent. Every one of these guys was a big contributor to their success this season. I see the Steelers competing with CIN in FA for some top OL picks this season and unfortunately CIN has the cap space to bury the Steelers.

Relax dude. I’m just happy we have cap space to make some noise in FA. Should be fun…enjoy the ride.

They built their D with a lot of FAs over 2 years. I think we could do it a lot quicker given what we have.

The big Q is how do we get a Joe Burrow.?

You have to really suck in the right year to get a player like Burrow.

I'm not advocating that we do that, but that's basically the only way you get the 1st overall pick when there's a consensus #1 QB who everyone thinks is going to be very successful.

I'd be ok settling for Mahommes or Allen or other good QBs available after the #1 pick

Not sure if it was here or IRL but I remember people had doubts about Burrow because he has 1 year of great QB play.. and he was older.

For the life of me I will never understand how being a few years older is held against a QB. Its not like they peak at 25 and then start to fade.

I did think it was weird hearing he was the same age as Josh Allen and Patrick Mahommes. Maybe a year off on the latter, but didn't think about it prior to the draft.

I do remember the concern about Najee being older.

Looks like it's gonna be tough for us to beat those guys for the next couple of years.

Let's hope we can come up with a little magic.
