    5 quick thoughts post game

    1) hilton needs to be signedd ASAP, he was a big part of the win, almost big as Ben.
    2) Claypool needs to be involved, he jump started the offense, he just makes plays.
    3) Dotson played well, AV not so well.
    4) There is no trust in run game we couldn't get 1 freakin 1 yard
    5) Ben played sh)t 1st half, great second. was it dropped passes, miscommunication with WR.

Bonus: Tomlin who i love, still is horrid on time management. no timeout at half, and how to run out to kill the clock to win game.

The OL is still a huge problem. 3rd and 1 may as well be a mile. I don’t want to take away from the comeback. It was a much needed win.

O-line is bad. But I’m glad that Ben started going vertical in the third quarter. It was two different games depending on what half of football you saw.

Failure to call a timeout before the half was embarrassing.
Our O line n TE is still grab n turn rather than drive block n kick out.
Colts backers all day as soon as they read pass dropped out n all day Conner in the flat was open. We should have went there more. That was so obvious n yet we to often did not take that easy pitch n catch.
No turnovers was a huge plus.
Highsmith has a good motor n is not a one trick pony in trying to turn the arc.
              Dotson was solid at LG.
              Tuitt played well inside.
Ben's 2nd half was special. Honestly I didn't know if we were ever going to see that again. Kudos to him.

yeah.. the RB in the flat has been open. Wide open compared to that predictable slant.

Second half was amazing. Its a mindset. Its not that we couldn’t go vertical, we were just stuck in that ridiculous short crap. Maybe thats all Fitner but we need to burn that playbook.

Still think Tomlin and Roethlisberger have been toying with the league. No way you flip on a dime without having practiced some of those plays.

I think they were trying to save Ben’s arm for playoffs....But had to cut that short and go 100% second half....

This game gives us " Hope "...After the last 4 games...

Ben looked shot, OL looked Horrific, WR's and TE couldn't catch, RB's couldn't run...

OL still pisses me off, when we can't EVER convert a 3rd or 4th and short...

But, Captain Dumbass aside ( Dude STILL has absolutely no clue about clock management ) I mean, It's laughable...

But Ben threw the ball downfield in the 2nd half like a Boss, D made plays...

We have " Hope " ....Which I thought we didn't

He's been averaging 40 plus passes a game for the past 4 games. I don't think they've been trying to save his arm. I'm not sure what this Jekyll & Hyde thing was today but it was nice to see open receivers and Ben hitting them.

Love the story but AV is done in Pgh, probably the NFL. He looks disinterested. Time to move on with life’s work. He’s got his MBA, finished a huge contract and doesn’t need the nfl anymore. Thanks and bye.

AV has looked awful this season. Today, I noticed a few times where he, Pouncey, and DD got killed at the LOS. I think it really stand out with AV cause he's tall and awkward when he's a step slow.

if you didn't notice a change in the offensive game plan in the 3rd quarter, then i'm not sure what you've been watching the last month.
so the question is why it took a month or so to see that again
                              here's my theory.

after the getting to 11-0 and clinching the playoffs, the next step was to try and get everyone into the postseason healthy.
with this OL, its risky to try to go with long developing pass plays, so they were very limited in the game plan

they wanted to keep everything short so the ball comes out of ben's hands quickly so he stays healthy, like when haley was brought in and was mandated to do that
it came down to a critical point in the season (chance of losing the division) when they went back to what worked early on in the year.

strange for sure, but i don't have any other explanation
