O'Brien is infamous for slow starts but then getting on a roll. If we think that we will be fine just running Conner up the middle, we are in for a bad day. And if we think we can roll out non-NT sets and contain the rush, good luck Irene. Remember the colossal holes had when Denver ran against our no-NT sets?
Don't you ever get tired of putting out the same nonsense drivel.

If we lose it will because of what the players do on the field. If we win its because of what the players do on the field.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

And you are fence stratling. Pick a side. Who do you think is going to win? That’s what this thread is about.
Yeah and the Texans secondary could come out and perform like the best secondary in the league this week. That could be the case for different reasons.

I don't know who will win. I hope that the Steelers will win.

Then why have any coaches at all? They are not even important according to your philosophy.

This group feels the Texans have a garbage OL and crap DBs. I hope so.

is it really the head coach's responsibility to give rah-rah speeches to grown professional men to make sure they're always focused?

That's a classic straw man argument. I never asserted the above. Some versions of making players focused requires no rah rah speeches at all, like how Hoodie coaches. No rah rah speeches but he get his players focused. It's called making players accountable.

when Belicheat coached the Browns he was 36-44, did he fail to get his players there focused and fail to make them accountable?

And then when we beat them by 10 + your going to say,” well it was obvious we were going to win easily” .

Classic fence stratler. By your conversation ,You’ve set yourself up to fall either way of the outcome.

Every week, we take a deep dive into the Pittsburgh Steelers opponent with an expert. This week it is Texans Wire editor Mark Lane. Lane is a very analytical guy so we knew when we started talking about what to expect this week, his thoughts would be backed by data

All I know is they better be prepared and ready.

When you got your 1st real job were you immediately at your best at that job? I hate when people act like Hoodie was trash at Cleveland; he had more success at that team since anyone since Marty. People forget in his last season before Art announced he was moving the team, they won 10 games and won a playoff game.

Can you imagine what things would've been like if Belicheat had stayed in Cleveland and had the kind of success he went on to have at NE?

BB ruthlessly cuts or doesn't resign guys that don't live up to their contracts.

                          He's a great coach.

But I think he might be a better GM

and then the following season Belicheat went 5-11.

he must not have had his team focused and held his players accountable coming off a playoff year.

I don't believe it's obvious that any team is going to win. I know the history of the game. Every team presents different challenges. I know that any team can win regardless of record, statistics, ect.

If the Steeler lose you will fall back to your default of, "Tomlin sucks". While I will attempt to conduct a proper analysis of why the team won or loss ie turnovers, player mistakes, 3rd down%, bad game ect.
