For those who wish we could have drafted Love...

...he didn't even make 2nd string in GB, he's 3rd.

They could have helped Rogers with Tee Higgins instead.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

      TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I don't view it as a negative that Love can sit and learn. It will all be forgotten if Love pans out.

When love pans out, it's a wonderful thing. When it goes bad, well, cue the violins and the sad, sad music ...

On the plus side for them, they did nab my favorite back of the draft, Dillon. If GB establishes a run Ds have to worry about, it will open the play action pass for Rogers. If those safeties have to creep up, he will slice and dice.

Didn’t know anyone here was high on Love. GB didn’t really do anything wrong. Aaron Rodgers was in the same position as Love when he was drafted and Favre was the QB.

I know some Steeler fans PERSONALLY who wanted Love. But if your first-round QB can't even make 2nd string, maybe not off to a great start.

Rodgers was third string in 2005 behind Craig Nall.

Love practice reports haven't been very good either. Not so far at least. They are saying his accuracy isn't good.

Of course it's ridiculously early to proclaim him a bust, BUT, if I'm a packer fan, I'm not sure if the team didn't go a little overboard in trying to prove they put Rogers in his place. It feels like they went a little overboard in a pissing match. Rogers is arrogant and rubs a lot of people the wrong way (he doesn't really speak to his own family, reportedly). But, it's all about winning a ring. Was it really wise to use such a high pick on Love in pursuit of another ring? You don't think Tee Higgins would have done a lot more to up their chances of winning a ring the next 2 years over a raw QB who won't see the field? Or, even beef up the D with some of those LBs and CBs who were still on the board?

Love was a bad pick and done from a pissing contest that wiser men would navigate better.

A jones averaged 4.6 yards per carry..

I like dillon too, but they didn't seem to have a problem running the ball.

many of their fans thought they wasted their 2 top picks
