    Mayfield had a passer rating of 65 today while Burrow's was 66.1.

    meanwhile, Lamar Jackson had a passer rating of 152.1.

    anyone who doesn't think Jackson is good is a f'n imbecile.

      Some hilarious tweets on Mayfield's outing:

      Baker Mayfield is Tim Couch with Commercials

      @Super70sSports
      Remember that one time Baker Mayfield got picked #1 and Lamar Jackson got picked #32? That was pretty funny.

      The return to normalcy we’ve all been waiting for. A Baker Mayfield pick before 10:30 AM PT.

                Lmao at people still trying to make excuses for Lamar Jackson’s success. He’s good. Really good.

                Players like Lamar, Deshaun, Russell Wilson always get passed over for the tradition hit garbage because the NFL is still filled with a lot of old stubborn guys who refuse to admit these guys have what it takes to lead a franchise.

                    Looks like Tannenbaum's reports of Ben's demise may have been a bit premature

                      Ben can still throw for sure. But he better stop holding the ball when there's nothing there or he won't make it through the season. Throw it away and live for another down.

                        I didn't see a fastball from Ben last night. Not worried, just an observation.
                        Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

                        I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

                          maybe not fastballs, but according to nextgenstats his release avg'd <2.4 sec. He was making quick decisions for the most part. Wondering what the arm will feel like when the weather turns ugly?!?

                            I would imagine he's intentionally avoiding fastballs until it's absolutely necessary. There wasn't a throw where I felt he lacked the strength.

                            He is already covering the arm with a sleeve on the sideline so you hope things go well when the temperatures really go south.

                              While not a fastball, the throw to Claypool on the sideline requires strength/a throw that most QBs in the NFL don't make/let alone attempt consistently.

                              The throw to Ebron had plenty of airspeed.

                              No way a bum arm can make the floating pass off his back foot to the corner of the endzone.

                              Arm=ok.

                                meanwhile, there are murmurs here that if Mayfield can't turn his game around he will be benched in favor of Keenum.

                                so much for Roethlisberger being at the bottom of the AFCN:
