Comeback players who have to show up

We have a few player who need to show up big this season

    1. Ben--enough said. He is the key to the season. If he come back and can put in solid performances we are good. He doesn't have to be a world beater

    2. JuJu--needs to get back to where he was his first two years. Will help all the other receivers. Essentially a contract year for him, although I think they will tag him he has a healthy and solid season.

    3. Conner--they need him to prove he can be a 16 game player. If Ben can perform, it will take the pressure off and get 7+ defenders out of the box. Will open things up for Conner and maybe he takes less hits.

If we win get to the Super Bowl is there any doubt that Ben should be the MVP of the league. One player being the difference between 8-8 and no playoffs and a Super Bowl team.

I think though that the play of the line will have a lot to do with how Connor and Ben are able to do. How is Wisniewski in short yardage situations? Cant be much worse that Pouncey, can he? Maybe with Snell running the ball and Dotson in there and Wisneiswski at center we will finally be able to run the ball in 3rd and 4th and 1 situations and on the goal line. That alone would be big. We were last by a long shot last year in short yardage situations IIRC.

well, all that depends on the actual contributions of Ben in our SB run.

if he looks amazing then sure.. but if he looks like Manning’s last year and gets dragged there by the defense? Not sure..

I really wouldn’t care who won the MVP if we won the SB.

Running the ball and being successful on 3rd & 4? I’d love to see it. I’m with you.

Conner... I admire his heart but man sometimes you just don't have the genes to play in the big leagues... feel a bit sorry for the guy at this point.

Good start for the first two

I'm hopeful that Conner can recover and do well, but Benny acquitted himself quite nicely tonight
