Monday fa frenzy ( after draft)

Ok ladies, are we going to be active tomorrow signing left over FA?

Tomorrow is the first day where FA don't calculate into the Comp formula.

Needs: Safety, ILB, OLB and maybe RB...

    suggestions?

    My cheap targets would be

    snacks harrison or dareus

darren lee. The guy everyone was reminded of shazier

and perhaps a safety. Jones or Jefferson.

I wouldn’t mind seeing devante freeman added to the mix at RB either

just went thru the list of top 100 available.

shocked to see Alec ogletree still unsigned. That guy is an athletic freak.

RBs. Shady,Lamar Miller, Hyde still out there.

      Bring back Barron.
      No sense adding another rbbc.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

here is a list to look over...

I didn't know Apple , Del. Walker, are still available...

I like both those ideas, Lee and Barron...

Lots of options for RB depth...Miller, Hyde, Cromwell

Some older corners... maybe turn to safety...

          Make room:

Extend C Heyward 4 years 50m/16m signing bonus. With a base salary of 5m this year he’ll save us 4m plus on the cap but get a first year payout of $21m.

Sign B Dupree for 3 yr, 52.5m/ 16.5m signing. With a salary of 5.5m this year, his cap hit will save us 4.8m. Properly constructed, this deal allows us to cut him and save a lot of cap space in year three (as Highsmith should be ready to take over) or extend him if he performs.

          With that cap space:

Sign Snacks Harrison, NT, to a 2 yr, 10m contract with 4m signing bonus. Fair for a player that will get limited snaps, he’s 32 and said he wants to play for a winner.

Sign D Lee to be our dimebacker in place of Barron. 1 yr prove it at 3.5m

Shores up both positions nicely, and helps insure our D remains strong these next couple years with Ben.

Yeah you are right, but as of now do you trust Ola, Skipper, or Highsmith to step in starting role for a game or two? I am saying maybe a min Vet... that position is so young.

It isn't a priority, but would like to add another back to push Conner and Snell, right now that player is Edmunds, and please don't say Samuels. That experiment failed. McFarland is a complentry back who might grow into something special, but he is still raw. He has to learn pass protection, etc...

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

I don’t mean to add to our love affair with the Ravens but they signed D.J. Fluker today. He fills their most pressing need on the OL.

After the Steelers had to rely on backup quarterbacks Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges last season, some wondered if their shaky play might lead the team to pursue another option this offseason. The answer appears to be no. There was some chatter about the prospect of signing Jameis Winston as an insurance policy for Ben...

We never made a bid for Winston
