Samuels has been a fine running back and a great 3DRB for us. And he's cheap and shows great character. You should feel bad.

I don't think they'll be trading Samuels. First off, you'd have to find someone willing to give up a pick for him

Samuels should be a slot WR ..Could be a big version of Switzer .Catching the ball is his game lets see if he can get some YAC off a 5 year slant . I bet he could . Brady would make him a stud .

I'll take Samuels going to camp and competing over whoever we can find in the 7th.

Can Samuels compete with Gentry for the 3rd TE type role? Back up FB/ part time RB? A little like David Johnson used to be? Or Will Johnson to a degree?
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

I don't think Samuels is a physical enough player or a good enough blocker to be a FB. I don't know if he has fully committed to being a running back. I think he should commit more. There are enough TEs on the roster. Claypool may become a TE in a few years. He is only about 10 lbs away and definitely has the frame.

Samuels has not developed a truly consistent and effective running style. He tries to hesitate a little bit when he gets the ball, similar to Bell, but his instincts sometimes fail. He has had some success running and I like his skill set. But if he cannot advance his effectiveness as a running back, he may be vulnerable on the roster. McFarland will make the team if he has no physical setbacks.

Samuels won't be even considered in that role. With Watt aboard as a FB-HB roll, and with our prized pick in Claypool, who is really a combo of WR-TE, a Kelce clone.

I don't even think Gentry even sees the field this year.

I am going to get called out on this, do you guy's remember Switzer, Ben's boy, getting snaps playing out of the backfield? I can see us using a more elusive Mcfarland and DJ18 in that role.

Who is to say that the snaps at RB go 45-50 Snell- Conner, with the later being the 3rd back...

Bit of extreme->>>But why would you even use a 3rd down back on passing downs when you can line up a combo of Ebron, McDonald, Juju, JW, Dj18, and Claypool... don't forget Canada influence on Fitchner of using a jet screen. ( DJ18, Juju, Claypool, hell I would even add McFarland.)

Samuels is useless to us now.

( by the way this post was a joke, as if anyone sees value in sanders to give up draft slot)

On 3rd down I want JuJu, McDonald, Ebron and claypool on the field. Maybe put Johnson in for McDonald

I'll give you kudos for saying it. Nothing against Swit but we need an upgrade there. It wasn't like he was killing it on special teams for a reason to give him a roster spot. Heck I thought Eli Rodgers was a better receiver n better special teamer then Swit,

Switzer is potentially the odd man out. Ive got Juju, Washington, Johnson, Claypool, and D. Cain as the top 5.
