How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Maybe our F.O. felt we didn't really need players who would contribute a lot on offense or defense this season.
Maybe they think that but they would be wrong.
I guarantee there were starters and contributors where we drafted.
Not agree on 1/3 the game. Maybe 1/8 to 1/10.

Not a lot of ammo this tear, but remember we already got a top 5 player imo, in Minkah...So we got Minkah, a very productive 13 TD's WR with great measurables and tons of athleticism...An an OLB with great measurables, and tons of production... What's not to like!

No worries, we'll get great players to fill all the spots you mentioned in rounds 4-7. In our 2nd pick, we took a backup at OLB, when we have insane other needs.

                ILB?

who’s the NT or OG YOU Would have drafted that starts this year?

i thought Dobbins would be the pick in the 2nd, but not sure he would have been a day 1 starter. If you don’t like the Claypool pick I suggest you watch that video of sims breaking his film down

PS. The draft has another day left

I think OLB was a need. Guys get dinged and hurt often at that position. And we have nothing behind Watt & Dupree. I’m more then good with this pick.

I thought Dobbins would be the pick but I guess the Steelers are satisfied with Conner, Samuels, Snell. I still wanted Dobbins. Reminds me a lot of Ray Rice (with better character).

For the rest of the draft? Go OL frequently.

Once again.......I didn't say I don't like the player. I said that it wasn't a need or bpa. We have more glaring needs than a wr. We haven't even given our 2 previous early round wrs a chance to prove their worth yet spent another early pick on one.

We had Akers, Dillon, Baun all there, but "we're the Steelers, smarter than everyone!"

Tells you what he thought of those Wr’s huh? To me now, Washington looks like a wasted pick. Because even if Juju leaves, we still are going to take another Wr next year. That’s what we do.. we constantly take Wr’s.

I don't expect them to sign him to a long term deal now.
I'm thinking he may be an ilb in the 3-4. He's only 243 lbs. Yea, he can add some weight, but I see him as competition for VW. Yes? No? just my guess

I never did like Washington all that much. With this kid from ND, he's 6'4" and can stretch the field. Maybe he's our next Martavus Bryant. Hope he stays out of trouble though.

id like a change of pace guy to compete with them and white. And was ok with dobbins. or even Akers / Taylor.

but do these guys look to be spectacular type backs? the way the draft rolled out, league sort of said nah.
Only 1 back got drafted in first round. And that was because Reid said he reminded him of Westbrook.

This Claypool guy ( video posted) has all the measurables of a difference maker.
And gives us protection if juju isn’t back next year.
I think it was a great pick
