What should the Steelers 2nd round Big Board look like

Here are 17 names that I think should be in play for the Steelers at 2/49. I did not include guys like Epenesa or Gross-Matos because they don't fit our scheme. I also did not include CB's because I think that is the position where we are most set. In no particular order.....Let's go.

    1-Xavier Mckinney-S-Alabama
    2-Deandre Swift-RB-Georgia
    3-Jonathan Taylor-RB-Wisconsin
    4-JK Dobbins-RB-Ohio St
    5-Zack Baun-LB-Wisconsin
    6-Antoine Winfield Jr.-S-Minnesota
    7-Denzels Mims-WR-Baylor
    8-Tee Higgins-WR-Clemson
    9-Laviska Shenault-WR-Colorado
    10-Michael Pittman Jr-WR-USC
    11-Neville Gallimore-DT-Oklahoma
    12-Ashtyn Davis-S-Cal
    13-Lloyd Cushenberry-C-LSU
    14-Cam Akers-RB-FSU
    15-Jalen Hurts-QB-Oklahoma
    16-Jeremy Chinn-S-S.Illinois
    17-Kyle Duggar-S-Lenoir Rhyne

    Bonus Wild Cards

    18-Josh Jones-OT-Houston
    19-Ezra Cleveland-OT-Boise St.

One of tese guys should be wearing Black and Gold tonight!!! Here We Go!!!!

No to OSU RBs. They never seem to pan out in the NFL. I am fearing the Steelers OSU connection though.

Hamler of Penn State has to be in there with those receivers. Other then Mims I would take him over the other receivers. Not by much but he is my preference he is a KC type receiver with that explosive speed and a super returner. Took over some games.

Cross all the S off, and I believe all 3 RBs listed are gone too. I'm not sure Baun will fall that far. Tee Higgins is a BALLER, and it especially makes sense if the front office assumes JuJu is gone next season.

I'm liking Hurts less and less. His weaknesses don't seem correctable.

Has issues sustaining rhythm as passer with so many off-schedule throws
Inconsistent patience allowing routes to develop
Slow recognition of early throw opportunities
Leaves slants and crossers behind targets
Misses checkdowns and opts for harder throws
Deep arm dip into elongated release
Forced speedsters at OU and Alabama to slow for deep throws
Needs to get better at trusting his pocket
Quick to drop his eyes when pressure mounts
More likely to void pocket than climb, scan and throw from it

Good college player, but these traits won't cut it in the NFL.

I don't want any wrs, te, cbs.
I'll take moss, Dobbins, Taylor, swift. McKinney. Blacklock, baun, wilson.
Hunt, cushenberry, Cleveland, Jones and hurts.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

nope. Hurts has wheels tho. Big difference from Rudolph.

Wonder if he drops to the 3rd?

                          No chance. Especially at 102

Wheels alone don't cut it. And his wheels aren't along the same lines as Jackson, Vick, et al. And he has a looping delivery, and that definitely doesn't cut it in the NFL. And, when receivers get deep he can't hit them in stride, they have to stop and wait for the ball. AND, he has no rhythm, no timing. Big time "NO."

It is crazy huh, that all those players are still there.

You didn't even mention the ILBs who might be there.. ( Harrison,Gay, Wilson)

( knock on wood!) ....I would be happy with all those players except for Gallimore ( my least favorite) and any DL.
