    draft simulator- had to show

was using fanspeak draft simulator CBS rankings and here is what I got:

    Baun LB
    Trautman TE
    Moss RB
    Simpson OG
    Gibson WR/RB
    ISMAEL C-

If the draft fell like this I would love it...

Braun we can line this cat anywhere, even mix him up with Watt roaming free.

Trautman, can play some snaps, I still don't trust the health of our TE and starter next year. 2020- 3 TE sets?

Moss in the mix with the RB crew

Maybe Simpson is plug and play year 1- Feiler goes back to RT

Gibson- upgrade over Jamal this dude is a playmaker.

Ismeal is a sneaky project pick at C/OG

    I know

no WR- with EBron and Trautman and Gibson we have depth at receivers
no S- big hole for depth - might be ok with Hilton/Sutton
no DL/NT- Wormley helps fill tha void, can Alualu play NT in certain plays
no T - we are going to need to draft one early next year or pay $$$ keeping AV and Feiler
no hybrid LB/S- could Gilbert play that, could Bush play that with Baun and VW?

But this would set up this year and next year big time.

    IF only....

    Not terrible but some ?
Why draft a TE in 3rd rd in what's generally described as weak TE class when there are free agents available that can step in as a 3rd backup?

I also don't think Moss is an upgrade over any RB already on the roster.

A late round pick at WR?.... check this guy's tape, J. Prosche. Great hands and can catch in combat.

      I will play along...

Trautman, small school still learning the postion, If we had a 1st round, you might say it was a good round for a project high potential TE.

Moss is a beast...he might even be the most pass protecting readyh RB our of the top 6. Like they say best ability is availability, so that might be edge over Conner. Moss can be a 3 down back... Snell not so much.

Yeah I was thinking of drafting Prosche or another WR, but I think I read an article showing link between Pitts and Ismeal.

Do you recall what were the other top options on the board at 49?

This could be the guy, can get him later. Great production.

We are not taking a TE at #49. Some of you guys keep projecting this every year. Clearly Colbert has showed you with other more pressing needs, TE isn’t that valued to him.

I would take Hodgins in around the 4th round and his QB Jake Luton in the the 7th.

I think you are right... just messing around in these mocks , but I still have fingers crossed.... it appears it takes too long to develope TEs and they are either all hyped up or unheard of in the draft.

it's not that it's not valued. But, you just don't find a gronk in every draft - and if you do, he's going early. So, Colbert has gotten veteran productive guys (Vance, Ebron) to fill the void.

Given the vets they have at the position, at this point taking a TE high in the draft would be a luxury. A luxury that only a team without other needs would take... or the browns.

We just got Ebron. We aren’t going TE early... I would be upset at that selection.

Yep...Colbert has taken care of our TE need in Ebron for the immediate future. And Ben will love him.

***Hodgins is a big target. But he's not a speed merchant. when it comes to the WR position, we gotta let Colbert do his thing; he's usually spot on
when it comes to that position. I think this is the year DJ shows the NFL that he's legit after a so-so rookie year.

Dobbins at 102? No way he lasts that long.
