why rush things and have a possible setback, there's no need for Ben to throw a football yet...
Im not suggesting we rush his rehab... thats not an option.
Do you think he will get enough reps with this offense in the summer... for that unit to resemble anything near an NFL caliber offense for the first 4 to 6 games?

How much does he usually get?
I think it's more important to play more preseason games and maybe not be given practice days off.
It seems this offense blows during preseason and the first handful of regular season games with what they did in the past.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Since Ben only has a couple of seasons left, we might as well max him out in the sense that we ask that he play in the preseason and practice on a regular schedule with the players. Why start the season out slow while rounding him (and the offense) into shape? We can't afford to start slow in this division any more with this division on the rise.

brilliant idea, coming off elbow surgery let's whip and drive Ben so he gets injured again and we can just roll with Mason and Duck for the rest of the season

The GOAT also plays little in preseason but it doesn't seem to affect his starting.

Obviously Brady can get away with that. After all our time, someone should be smart enough to know Ben can't.

That only happened recently. Pretty sure last season was the first time Brady rested in preseason.

A few years back I pointed out how Brady was playing into the 3rd quarter early in preseason and how Ben was resting and people laughed it off.

The old “what if he gets hurt” excuse.

I will say that even though we typically start slow we usually end strong most years when things are clicking.

Yeah... that early game we lost to the bears in 2018 cost us playoff positioning that year. Could have avoided the Jags in the playoffs that year with that bears win.
