All 3 tes mentioned above will probably cost us signing bud and/or any of our other fas.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?
i was laughed at on here by even suggesting that we ask (Ben taking a paycut) lol
He didn't play for most of this year
If I could, I'd just ask him, "How bad do you really want to win one more Super Bowl?"
I think he's made well over $200 million from this team. Doesn't seem like giving up $20-30 million would cripple him too badly. Of course, he might not agree.

I would love to see Ben take a discount in order to make a run at another SB. However, it's also possible that he looks at it and says, "look how dysfunctional we are without me." Similar to the year Manning was hurt in IND and people were joking he should be considered for league MVP based on how big of a drop off there was.
Vance M who will be 30 in June n is scheduled to make 7.1 this year. Now I'm not a cap expert, however letting VM go and signing Vannett has got to be appealing to management. Free up some cash and moving on from Vance has to be on the table.
Since we're always up against the cap it would seem unlikely we could make a major free agent move without 7 doing a restructure.

I don't think we've seen the best of Vannett. I'm intrigued by him. But I'm ready to move on from VM; always hurt all the time.
