      Panthers hire Matt Rhule.

7 years $60 mill... with incentives up to $70 mill

and had to pay 6 mill to buy him out of Baylor.

I think this will turn out bad.
1 good records with a major program
All I ever saw him do is cry and act like an idiot on the sidelines.
I dont see that style working in the nfl
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

he turned Temple and Baylor around.

He also has experience coaching in the NFL with the Giants I believe.

It will be an interesting hire to watch.

Most players don't receive that kind of a deal.

60 mill for unproven coach. Some owners continue to make bad decisions.
As a result, other organizations will have to over pay for coaches services.

I think transitioning from college to the pros must be difficult.

In college, it seems like recruiting is the premier skill for a coach to have.

In the pros, I think the premier skill is probably something like ego management.

Let's not bash him before he gets a chance. Everybody comes from somewhere. Who knows; he may pan out.

Rhule was an assistant coach for the Giants. This may help him since he has seen how players in the NFL need to be handled.

You make it sound like he’s our coach.. lol. Bash away.. time will tell.

Ive only seen Baylor player 2 games and while he was hyped as a guy who turned the culture around I have no idea how good he will be in the NFL.

and the guy went 11-2 at Baylor. If someone only seen him crying on the sideline they either didn’t watch much or they exaggerate a ton.

i think the Ruhl is bad for us. With this kind of long-term deal and resetting the market - the stains may be forced to extend a contract that compels the worst owners in the league to be very patient. I love the fact the Haslams have ZERO patience and reload every two years. Now if they choose poorly and the guy sucks, they'll have an anchor around them for years to come. yay for that. But they could luck out and pick a guy that in 3-4 years could put together something potent. They're looking hard a McDaniels.

who knows what the future will bring, but hamstringing the browns ability to panic and punt isn't in our best interests.

The Browns are the least of our concerns in this division. The Ravens should be our top priority considering their the two-time/back to back division champs.

you sure called that one correctly when you said Lamar Jackson was never going to be a good QB

Who said that? I don’t think anyone would put Lamar and Kap on the same level.

Also, that San Francisco team/FO pretty much crumbled around Harbaugh (many say it was due to his coaching style).

Guys abandoned ship and I’m pretty sure there was rumors of Harbaugh overworking guys and breaking CBA rules.

Also.. Kap and Lamar aren’t the same guy even tho they played the same position.
