I have a few questions concerning Ben, for you cap gurus.
First of all I hope Ben comes back healthy and doesn't lose a beat, but we need to be proactive just in case. I want ask a few questions concerning Ben.
From what I understand, If Ben can not perform or decides to retire, it would be just like a cap cut. He still will be due all that money for 2020-2021. (A. Luck must of killed Indy's cap this year!)
If I am right, wouldn't it be logical to redo his contract and add a ghost year(s) with more guarantees to make his cap hit flexible. Maybe the same can be said for Pouncey.
I keep forgetting, when looking for salaries counting against the cap, what do you look at Base salary, dead cap, or cap hit. Or is the difference of cap hit-dead cap.
