We've been living in the US for 6 years and always celebrated Thanksgiving at our place (sometimes with our family). We'd also still do Canadian Thanksgiving (Columbus day here) because I never need much of an excuse to eat more Turkey.

We spent this year at a friends place for our first US Thanksgiving with Americans (not including our 2 year old who was born here). Was a great time. We also caught on to a tradition they do, that I think we'll carry over. Instead of eating at normal dinner time, we at at 2:30. Great idea. Fasted all day until the meal, ate like a fiend, and didn't feel like crap by the time I went to bed. Don't know if this is a common thing here, but thought it was a great idea.

Wife and I cooked damn near everything. Put my foot in it too.

My brother and his family live near you. I can't do that humidity, or the crowds. Only 500k in our whole state. 15k in my whole county. I prefer that. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Sir.

To all here on Planet Steelers who I consider you all my extended family I hope u all had a great holiday. We live in the greatest country in the world, and though far from a perfect country, we all have something to be thankful for. For all my B & G family I wish you all the best through the holiday season and lets kick some A this weekend since it's payback time. I want this game BAD!

I just came up for air from 3 days of feasting and eating leftovers to check on the Steelers news. I'm thankful for all yinz guys. And I'm thankful for the 20 weeks of football we're gonna play this year with the final one leading to #7. All is good now with Duck at the helm. This is gonna be one of those plot twists everyone is gonna say no one saw coming.
