True. I think MR has lost his confidence. Add to that the play calling is awful and like always this team seems unprepared for inferior opponents.
Every time we got the ball back I had a sensation that we aren't be dangerous.

      2. Why don't we involve the TEs in the passing game? IMHO, TE's stretching the middle of the field open up the running game more than anything else.
Yes to both. With your 1st QB out and your 2nd struggling the running game is going to be your 1st option and the rivals know it and send 8 to the LOS.

I don't think that's what earned Rudolph the bench. I think what the coaches are observing is that when the plays are there, Rudolph simply isn't executing consistently. The All-22 doesn't lie.

Lets see what Fichtner has planned for this week.
Will we see some RB screens?
          Some draws?
          Some designed rollouts?
          More under center?
          Play action?
          or will we see
          shotgun every snap?
          slow developing run traps/pulls?
          a handoff to Vance?
When we ran that wildcat earlier in the season it wasnt even his idea

Something I have wondered for a long time. It seems every OC gets roasted by the nation.
Way? One had to be avg or above. Then the rest has to be put on the players IMO.
Every offense struggles for many reasons. We have all seen Ben not even see wide open WR's.
I just can't figure out how this team has so many fan proclaimed bad OC's.
On a side note, the defensive coordinator has not been roasted in weeks.
            Refreshing turn around.

Fullback or no full back teams don't respect the Steelers ability to beat them consistently in the passing game. As a result, they can have an extra man or men up near the line. Until the offense gets consistently adequate QB play they will struggle in all facets of offensive production. Signing another FB would be a waste of a roster spot.

I think the TE's run routes. It's up to the QB to get those guys the ball. Again, consistently adequate QB play.
